Got probably a week or so to figure it out, but i dont see how they can give hech his starting job back. Rojas is flat out a better player. Or more aptly put Hech fucking sucks.

Hech will absolutely get his job back though Hill has always said Rojas is the better defender anywhere in the infield.Originally posted by Madman81Most of the people in the world being dumb is not a requirement for you to be among their ranks.

I saw enough of Riddle at Jacksonville last year to not be good with him on the major league roster of an aspiring playoff team.Originally posted by Madman81Most of the people in the world being dumb is not a requirement for you to be among their ranks.

Yeah there's no world where they don't give Hech is job back so that black hole bat is gon come back.
This was an action packed series and 3 of 4 is like a dream with the way Phelps pitched and the way Mattingly got out-managed in the 16 inning game.
Bour is easily my least favorite Marlin. That comedy slide could have cost us the game. He's cocky and his occasional home run doesn't make up for all of the holes in his game.

Seattle and Toronto tho would be the first places I would look if they keep sucking tho-see what they want from a combo of Hech,Urena,a RP arm in AAA or prospects
The only thing is Mattingly likes that Rojas can play 1B,2B,SS,3B while Hech is pretty much a SS only. That and he is making 4 million are the reasons why he is starting

Lets just hope Blown Save figures stuff out. He is already at BS3

To put a bow on one particular moment: The announcers last night made a big deal about Mattingly not challenging d'Arnaud's blocking of the plate on the Bour slide. Mattingly addressed it in his post-game comments by saying they didn't have enough time to really get a look at it and decide to make a challenge since this year the managers have just 30 seconds to make the decision. I didn't see that explanation in any online write-ups of the game, and I was curious to see (a) if anyone actually asked him about it and (b) what his response was, so I went back to watch his post-game presser on the Herald site.

Still not happy that Fredi almost blew the game by sending a runner on Cespedes's arm.
Hope ¿NICK? makes a Mariners threadOriginally posted by Madman81Most of the people in the world being dumb is not a requirement for you to be among their ranks.
