Ive been saying for years Mike Dunn needs to go. The fact that he is the longest tenured marlin currently is mind boggling and kind of sad. to me the most important stats for relievers are k's/9 and WHIP/walks. High WHIP/relievers with no control are not hard to find. Enough of this nonsense, Mike Dunn has been good for maybe one year. At the very least use him as one of our first arms out of the pen in blowouts, enough of this close game bullshit. Also Wittgren needs to start having a major role in the bullpen, he's proven over his entire career he is a quality late inning bullpen arm.

Clemens still looks like crap but AMAZING how much better Stanton looks when he doesn't try to kill everything

As for Dunn,the FO loves him and Mattingly has had a hardon for him since ST. This board knows I am NOT a Mike Dunn fan however dont forget he was out most of the year. People dont realize that when u miss ST and all it puts u back

I know Ozuna's having a great year, but I've seen more flat out laziness from him in the OF this year than any major league player I've ever seen.

1 of the reasons alot thought he would be gone already and teams were trying to get him cheap. He is lazy,primadonna(alot better tho this year) and was out of shape(dropped 20lbs and much better this year) however the FO seems to be OK with lazy as long as he keeps killing the ball

Funny thing is he is a solid defensive OF when he feels like it. Would be a perfect DH-kill the ball and when feels like actually playing defense u can put him in the OF and could be better than the guy he replaced

We're kinda getting in the discussion for some of the best lineups in baseball. 3 guys near .900 OPS playing everyday and none of them are Stanton? Plus a non blackhole behind the plate? All without Dee Gordon? Can we please acquire a really good #2 pitcher soon?

If Hech keeps this hitting up i'd look into putting Dee back at SS and Dietrich at 2b for the stretch run and bringing Hech off the bench or something. I know Dee isn't great defensively at SS but a lineup down the stretch of:

Dee
Ozuna
Yelich
Stanton
Bour
Prado
Dietrich
Realmuto

or anything like that combined with us acquiring a good SP and we are a serious threat.
