If Bonds is having the biggest impact on anyone, it might be Yelich. He's been pulling the ball and driving it a lot more this season than in the past, and I think that's translating into more home runs. This could be the season where we see him in that 20-25 plateau we've discussed before.

Yelich smashing home runs is probably the most encouraging thing possible for this team. We've been saying for years the only thing holding him back from being a superstar is the lack of power, hopefully it's arrived.

He's already hit 3 hr at Marlins Park this season, tying his career total coming into the year.

His road splits were pretty close to being a 20hr guy already. If he's gonna hit them at home too, pretty safe bet.

And I've been saying for awhile that it's not nearly as difficult for lefties to hit homers at Marlins Park. The ball flies out to RF and it's a pretty short porch so if you get into one as a lefty and pull it to right, there's a good chance it's gonna go out. Bour and Dietrich have taken advantage of that in their short careers so here's hoping Yelich can as well.

Though even though I just shat on him, Bryan Morris has come up big past few appearances. Maybe he's turning it back around.
