Latos gets you a pick if he is offered a contract. Trading him probably doesn't net you a has to net you a prospect better than the pick for it to make sense.

Stanton has a no trade clause but he might waive it to get on say the Dodgers (legitimate organization that's closer to home).

Trading Haren (Prado and Morse) makes sense.
