    Salty started vs. a LHP yesterday. They gave him the day off against a RHP the next day. I don't understand why they are doing this to me.

        Mathis has actually been better against LHP in their careers.

            Among the 284 players with at least 200 PA last season, Oswaldo Arcia had the fourth-largest gap between his OPS against RHP and LHP, but faced LHP in nearly 35% of his plate appearances, the 13th highest ratio in the league.

            Yeah, Mathis is significantly worse against RHP.

                          I don't get Rich Waltz and his obsession with the "football mentality" thing. It feels like he does this at least once a game with a player. When Stanton makes a great play in the OF, it's the first thing he always brings up.
