  • Brad Hand is the Favorite Tonight Vs Phillies

    Makes zero sense.

    Therefore, WGW.

You say this now, but you'll change your tone after his perfect game tonight. (A perfect game for Hand is allowing only 4 runs in 6 innings)

Brad Hand is an even bigger favorite than he was when I made this thread. I have placed a $125 wager on the Marlins. I must be out of my mind.

His WHIP is over 1.7 over his last 24 big league innings.

nothing like a 23 pitch first inning

good thing we have Bour on the bench instead of an extra bullpen arm

They have 7 arms available in the bullpen. None has thrown more than 2 innings in the previous three days.

What's the matter with the current construction of this roster, exactly?
                      --------------------
They actually have a LHB available off the bench right now. Isn't that a good thing?
                      --------------------
Damning with faint praise a bit (and he could melt down any minuted)`, but Brad Hand looks better than he has in a while.

SIU has a Jake Hand on their baseball team. No relation.

Casey McGehee is having a fantastically weird season.

He has 51 RBI in 84 games, putting him on pace for 96 on the season. He has an isolated slugging percentage of .077.

No player since 1923 has drive in 95+ runs with an ISO below .080. No player since integration has drive in 95+ runs with an ISO below .100.

                              This is fantastic.
