And? West has been sent down to the minors, too and really shouldn't be up here now except that we have no better options.

And I'm done arguing with you and Swift. Berate me all you want but you won't get me to change my mind or say anything different and I'm tired of listening to it

        That's Beef, not me.

I just think it's fucking stupid you play the "don't criticize our guys" card all the fucking time, refuse to call a problem player a problem player, but, fucking abhor Sean West and Anibal Sanchez who, if healthy, both have tremendously higher ceilings than your favorite fuck buddy fantasy.
        --------------------
Meanwhile, so long as Johnson isn't in the lineup, it'd be awesome if we tried Hermida 2 again.

Gload's going to have his moments, but they'll come regardless of the spot in the lineup. I'd like to see the suddenly hot Hermida hitting with Hanley behind him; if it doesn't work, then we know his game/patience just suits itself well to the 8-hole and we can move forward if/when Nick comes back.

Chris Seddon is the fucking best but Ricky Nolasco is the fucking worst. You wont get me to change my mind no matter what you say! It's very silly.

I don't know what your point is. West ain't been good. I haven't said otherwise. Volstad ain't been good, so why are you so fucking awkwardly attached to the guy that you can't even admit reality? He can come back and be a legit major league pitcher, but right now he sucks, so talking about how other guys suck and get sent down while ignoring that guy makes you look really dumb, just like people think fip is reaaaallllly dumb.

Hey you know what else West did today? Qualify for a fucking win two starts in a row.

            That's consistently awesome.

              You know what's not consistent?

To say its alright for one guy to mostly suck because he is still young but to then hate on another guy for sucking, despite his youngliness

Baker's evidently stuck as a middle of the order hitter; I'm fine with that. Hermida, though, it's clear we don't think of him as a traditional RBI guy because we've tried it and it's failed. Give him another shot up top.

One thing we all can agree on...Renyel Pinto Fucking Sucks, even though he finds a way to get out of half the shit he gets himself into....I hate watching him pitch.

                      Got a Brett Carroll sighting.

                      And a Matt Lindstrom sighting.

                      Hold onto your hats.

I could live with a Ross or Hermida, Maybin, and Carroll outfield next season.

                          I couldn't live with that.

Carroll, not a slight at all, is a high end 4th OF. Great defense, lets you get him 4 days worth of AB's resting people, plus being a late inning defensive fill in and a Sunday starter, but his bat just won't let him play a corner as a starter, even if his defense is superb.

If Maybin falls on his face again (you never know) that outfield is fucking awful, and a team on a budget cannot throw away production from the outfield in the name of defense. Outfield defense is overrated, and production from a corner outfielder is cheap and easy to come by.

This gripe is sort of coming out of nowhere, but we have to do better than a .760 OPS in the clean-up spot next year. Christ, Hermida has the same OPS as our clean-up hitter, and most people would probably shit if Hermida were batting 4th. Uggla and Cody are at least around .800.

We ride the Cantu train hard out of the notion that he's "clutch."

I love him, but the guy hasn't been the same since he hurt his hand. He was ungodly before the injury, so I'm willing to say there might still be something to that, but yeah, our offense is pretty weak.

It'll never happen, but hitting Baker or Hermida 3rd, Hanley 4th might not be the worst experiment in the world.
