                I doubt its because he is a winner. More to do with no team wanting him at his salary.

                You should hope he deals up until the deadline so the Marlins might get a decent return for him.

                  I hope he keeps his ERA really low and doesn't win many games in the process.

                  Also, the Marlins did give him the contract because he won a lot of games. There was no other reason.

                            Yeah it had nothing to do with the fact that everyone thought his main stats would finally match his peripherals making him awesome at this price. But then you know he decided to just get worse in those areas too.
