Reds managed to score 0 runs in 2 games so if we win 1 of the next 2 we have to play Braves.

sucks but cant help it. their pitchers dont scare me outside of fried. their hitters absolutely murder our pitching though. we would need pretty ridiculous SP to beat them. I had no idea they hadnt won a playoff series since 2001 until that stat circulated today. that's pretty absurd given how often theyve made it.

Yup. I have to think MLB was spooked by what happened in the Yankees-Indians game, but it is just silly that they called the game 3-4 hours before it started raining. Hopefully something good comes out of the off day and Marte is able to give it a go tomorrow.

Some on another forum I'm on speculate MLB did it for ratings with the White Sox playing today, and potentially no other games tomorrow.

i got a good feeling about sixto and our bats managing to scrap a few runs off darvish or at least make him work so he doesnt get deep into the game. hate hate hate that the game is at 2 again though.

dickerson has great numbers in his career against darvish so he should be leading off. marte does as well but who knows if he is available to start. Matt joyce is 1-15 in his career so he shouldnt be starting regardless but especially today. Give sierra or Brinson the start, or Jazz.

i dont remember seeing the lineup yesterday having joyce in it but i wasnt paying that close attention to it. i just do not get the need to use him. if you want to pinch hit him in the 7th or 8th inning of a game that's one thing, but enough already. he's been straight up bad.

between my marlins bets just to win today and the bet i made to win the series i have a pretty heavy amount of money riding on todays game. IDK why the line keeps making the marlins bigger and bigger underdogs. we should be underdogs but not 2/1 underdogs. I think sixto is gonna pitch well.
