  • There isn't any site that records velocity from spring training is there? I remember watching his outing against Washington and I remember him hitting 95-96 a few times. That hasn't been the case the last two starts though.

          I never trust non-PitchFX radar readings. They are generally unreliable.

                      I believe every ballpark has a PitchFX system now, and what it is is a series of highspeed cameras attached to a computer that analyzes everything from the speed at release to the speed when it actually reaches the batter to the vertical and horizontal movement of pitches. Even the rotation of the ball is recorded.
