Not that I think he's great or something, but Bonifacio has improved as a hitter.

Not really. He had a hot April(.346/.398/.494 from the start of the season to May 4th, 81 ABs), but since May 5th, he has hit .221/.302/.301 with 33 Ks in 113 ABs.

You can't just pick a certain date and point out how horrible he's been since that certain date.

He had a terrible month of May.

He has a not-so-terrible .745 .OPS in the month of June.

Just recently (from June 9th-14th) he had a stretch of six consecutive multi-hit games (13 for 25).

He's been hitting the ball pretty well again, recently.

Overall, he's had a decent year as a hitter, exceeding expectations.
