Chris Volstad is no worse with 2 outs than he normally is and has only give up 2 HRs (3 after that one) with 2 outs.

Still, it just feels like he consistently blows up with 2 out.

Yeah, but it's mostly been with 1 out. He turns every hitter he faces into an MVP candidate with 1 out.

I wish there was something logical about his struggles. It's not like there's ever a difference in his stuff; he's always "on" whatever he is. He just can't seem to escape big blowups.
