God would be expecting a first pitch breaking ball in the dirt because humans love to disappoint him.

Looking at the hourly forecast, it's supposed to rain all day today in Philly. The precipitation chances don't even fall below 50% until 11 pm. High probability that this game is postponed and we play 2 tomorrow.

I'd rather Volstad face the Phillies than Anibal. Have you seen Anibal's stats in Philly?

Sanchez will make his 12th career start Saturday against the Phillies on Saturday, and his eighth in Philadelphia. In 57 2/3 innings over 11 previous starts against the Phils, Sanchez is 3-7 with a 5.93 ERA. In the Phillies' ballpark, the righty is 1-5 with an 8.73 ERA.

We usually play Hamels pretty well and the team is on a roll. I have a good feeling about tonight's game as long as Anibal can hold up on his end.

Read above Chewie, game was postponed. Also I'd rather Anibal go than Volstad.

Yeah, because Anibal's 8.73 ERA in at least 6 starts Philly is really impressive.

I do like getting Vazquez out of the three hole, though.

Not like Volstad is a great option at Philly either.

The ERA isn't what concerns me, it's the likelihood of him getting tagged with homeruns. I also have more confidence that Anibal has the ability to overcome his poor outings in Philly, not so much for Volstad.
