  • 4/8/11| Marlins at Astros | 7:05 PM EST

It's technically Friday and I felt like making a game thread whilst watching Jimmy Kimmel.

The Marlins hit the road for the first time in 2011 looking to man the fuck with a stop in Houston. Perhaps they can find some offense in the city of abundant doughnut shops.

Ricky Nolasco (0-0, 2.57 ERA) for your 3-3 Marlins Marlins

    vs.

Wandy Rodriguez (0-1, 15.75 ERA) for the 1-5 Houston Astros.

    Houston, we have a problem.

I believe Norris goes Saturday, and Wandy Rodriguez pitches today.

I'm excited for tonight. It's the Astros home opener so it will be the first time I've ever seen the introductions. It'll be like a preview for opening day next year (which I plan on attending)!

Yup, it appears ESPN.com lied to me last night. It's a good thing too, because if there's anything to get the Marlins offense going, it's facing a knuckleballer.

Dating back to last season, the Astros have scored four or fewer runs in each of their last 14 games, the longest active streak in MLB.

I think Wandy Rodriguez has absolutely dominated us though.

I looked it up. 3-1, 2.23 ERA. Pretty good right thur.

if he isn't back at some point this weekend, we totally dropped the ball not putting him on the DL, or holding him out these last few games

Maybe they were wrongly assured he wasn't made of glass

Do they break out the black alternates tonight?

And call me crazy...Helms got 2 hits last night and is 5 for 16 against Wandy Rodriquez...they should have given him another start...

                          feels dirty

He also pitches extremely well at Minute Maid.
