When you playing for one run, moving up one base to give up an out is generally considered a good thing.

But yes, if he gets the out, and runners are at the corners, you can still get the DP, which I get.

I would say we should always attempt to give up no more than 1 run when possible...even at the sacrifice of maybe giving up 1...unless we are away in a tie game obviously...
