You make my argument. The closer role is the most overrated relief position. Sanches has been extremely effective and should be why he should be pitching for longer chunks and in more important situations.

No matter what, Fredi needs to do some tinkering with the closer role. Either Nunez is suffering from some dead arm or is not well-suited to the closer role (or just isn't that good), but this situation isn't working out too well for a team in the thick of the playoff hunt.
