Not necessarily. But with all the "Volstud" talk when he was coming up, it seems more was expected of him (i.e., more than a ceiling of average).

I certainly don't think his ceiling is average, but I don't think he ever realistically had anything close to an "ace" ceiling. That he was misrepresented isn't his fault. He was always going to be a mid rotation guy.
