Rumors of Hanley's demise have been greatly exagerated.

I unmooted for David V because I figured it'd be funny.

In case you were wondering, Sanches is back, Meyer is on the DL and Hanley has had baseball success in the past.

Now you are also in the know.

The moment I saw him, I turned on the Padres feed

              David is not for me

              John Baker, however, is.

Mets game rained out, so I'm seeing this on ESPN! Just in time for Cody's two-bagger!

Sending Cody there was not a great idea, but it worked!

I don't know about that. Was his chance of scoring better than 33%?

I agree with sending Cody, not like you really trust Maybin or Coghlan to get him in right now, force the issue, we already had the lead.

                          I don't know.

Banks has a mediocre arm, but he was picking up the ball as Cody rounded. The ball beat Cody by a pretty decent amount, he just made a good slide and made the catcher drop it.

He definitely didn't beat the throw. And it wasn't really bang bang.

But it worked. With two out I suppose it's best to be agressive.

Of course if he gets thrown out we all go "Stupid third base coach!"

ROY or not, how much longer can Cogs and his sub .150 average (and his barely higher OBP) be tolerated at the top of the order?
