I hope he's ok - he hasn't posted either place in a while.

IT tells us that while we will transfer over our posts and user accounts, we will not transfer over our plug-ins, so things like the new post counter, auto refresh, user tagging, etc, will not work at first, since the malware exploit is in a plug-in somewhere. We can then add plug-ins back in to the fresh install.

Big thanks to all of you who offered to help out with the cost. It will help tremendously. I want to purchase the license and before the upgrade because I don't want anyone thinking I'm just taking money and running with it. I'll provide payment info soon for those who wish to help.
Great to hear! I'll be in for 50 as well.

        • Marlins are playing goood. I don't know why we are starting Castano instead of Guzman.

they are both complete torture to watch. it's been a fairly awful year for lee stone endorsees. Castano, mejia, eddy alvarez,

this is a huge double header. with degrom pitching later in the series if we can take both of these tonight with these double headers that limit our bullpen exposure and a bunch of guys in our lineup super hot (rojas, dickerson, anderson all of a sudden, villar, joyce). we need to capitalize.

              1) Castano is coming off a great start vs Mets last weekend
              2) Guzman is capable of walking every hitter
              3) Looking forward to seeing Rogers in game two, weather allowing

Given the weather day, that could be it for Castano. Four Marlin runs are not likely to hold up if this becomes a bullpen game

Castano was great vs Mets last week ... six scoreless innings to start the game.
Eddy Alvarez didn't hit a lot, but showed us the best defense we have ever seen from a Marlin and was great on the bases.
Mejia will be fine once he settles in. He has the best curveball on the team.

Castano had one good outing vs the mets in our pitchers park and has sucked every other time out and very clearly has minor league stuff, which is why we continue to tell you to stop taking minor league numbers as the end all be all when evaluating minor league talent. he stinks. he's not a major league pitcher. why do you throw out how much you value k/bb ratio once they get to the big leagues when its guys you pull for? he;s got 6 walks in 12 innings and doesnt have any major league stuff whatsoever. he is not a major league pitcher.

best defense we have ever seen from a marlin is so reactive and hyperbolic it isnt even worth responding to you. he too is not a major league player.

mejia might be a decent bullpen arm down the line but he is nowhere near major league ready.

everything that we told you would happen is happening. you fall in love with AAAA players based off minor league numbers that have no context to you. none of these guys have any kind of real major league future with this organization.

castano has a 6.88 FIP and 5.45 Xfip. which means even his thoroughly mediocre numbers are inflated due to good luck

                - - - - - - - - - -

castano also isnt "coming off a great start." He pitched vs the nats days ago and couldnt get out of the first inning

                • the more i see of lewin and jesus id be cool with just letting them play every day and figure it out. we've already got the service time advantage, we're still in it, and they clearly look like they arent far away from figuring it out. plus it gives them a leg up on next year's potential learning curve and the more i watch the team this year the more i think they can be a legit contender as soon as next year if these pitchers figure it out a little quicker than expected.

                  • Any particular reason why Mattingly would take Bleier out after 1 pitch? Especially with 2 lefties (Smith, McNeil) due up this inning?

                    It worked. Don’s a genius.

                        • Trevor Rogers looks like a legit mlb pitcher. Whether that be in the rotation long term or in the bullpen that guy clearly has legit stuff and an adult body

                          • Hey look at that Jon Berti fella walking, stealing 2nd, stealing 3rd and then stealing home in the same inning.

SWOOSH. Nothing but net for the Marlins tonight!

                            • That was a fun second game.

Rogers looks like he has a great fastball but some control issues on the secondary pitches. The umpire didn’t help him at all.

                              • rogers looked like a lot like andrew miller to me last night.

i had no idea he was a mid 90s fastball guy. idk why but i remember scouting reports on him being like 92, not 95.

That was a huge doubleheader sweep last night. we've really taken advantage of the one's we've had thus far. if we can walk out of ny splitting the next two games and being able to take 3 out of 4 that would be awesome. hopefully we can make degrom work again tonight and get him out of the game before the 6th or 7th. Elieser has been pitching really well so hopefully he can keep it close.
