Sierra literally does nothing on the baseball field well. He’s fast but it’s irrelevant. He doesn’t know how to steal bases, and he looks silly more often than not in the outfield.

so apparently if we wait till wednesday with all these guys we get the extra year of control. so i wonder if we just call up brinson or travis snider for a few days. or if they plan on sending them down once ramirez is back then maybe they just call them up

thats not being cheap. that is absolutely what they should be doing. youre talking about 3 days this year vs a full extra year of team control in their prime. that would be ridiculously stupid to call them up unless they plan on sending them back down for a week once the guys are healthy in a week or two. you can both be win now with out being foolishly short sighted.

Did you even read what I said? If they want to actually win, they will call them up. If they want another year of control over the chance of fielding our best team and making to the playoffs after 17 years than yes, it is being cheap. Can you imagine the buzz next year if we make the playoffs this year?

3 games against the orioles is not worth the extra year. they can be both win now and not make a stupid short sighted move. it doesnt have to be 100% one way or the other. also, they can say they are win now but they obviously arent nor should they be. their top prospects are not ready yet. they cant come out and say they dont expect to win this year. no team has ever said that explicitly.
