  • Uggla Wants To Stay In Florida

Uggla made $5.35 million after arbitration this year and the Marlins can go the same route for the next two years.

"The strides I made in the second half I'd like to carry over next year," Uggla said.

And he'd like to do it in South Florida.

"Of course, they gave me an opportunity," Uggla said. "I love this organization, love my teammates, the fans; it's a great place to live.

    "We'll wait and see."

He's a big part of us being very good in 2010. I hope we find some way to keep him.

Hanley should take some of his 70 million and give some so Uggla can stay sort of like Kurt Warner sid he would do.

Boldin > Uggla. Think Uggla could split double teams like Anquan? I dont think so.

I rather get rid of Hermida than Uggla

I know some guys who had a meet and greet with David Samson tonight, and he apparently flat out said "baseball is a business, say we wanted to trade Uggla, which we are....blah blah." Done. Gone. Fin. All of baseball must already know and they are already on the phones if they have the balls to tell a group of people before the season is over, "he gone."

                          Gotta love (hate) it.

If the stadium weren't being built, I'd probably hate this team for the 2010 season.

We're going to get a terrible package for him. Baseball is business, but Samson and the FO fail at bluffing.
