Well said by LeBatard and very much the truth. So Fla has been abused by MLB on numerous occasions. The worst being foisting Loria on us....why didn't he go to Washington with the Expos....we all know why....taking an All-Star game from us, and now the Stanton trade to the Yankees. And the Marlins are basically a shell of an MLB franchise....with no guarantees that this rebuild works. How and what will happen if they spend 5 years with 90+ losses - and then say well we gotta rebuild again.....

What else would you call it....we didn't want him, and MLB forced him on us. I mean seriously, why didn't he go with the Expos to Washington ? Why was it important to keep out of there ? WE ALL KNOW WHY.....and he didn't disappoint. Only thing he did wrong was to get the actual stadium built. Or MLB would have the San Antonio or Las Vegas Marlins by now.

Its not like he pushed for Jeter but his thinking was anyone except Jeff Loria would be better for this team
