Why would you own a major league team, only have the 29th highest payroll in baseball, not make the playoffs for 14 fucking seasons, and then still not add salary when we have a great opportunity? This ownership is so pathetic. And its not just cheap in adding new players, the amount of players we've had to give up in trades over the last few years just because we don't want to take on salary is ridiculous.

Mattingly has no problem with Rojas as his SS especially since DD can play 1b,2b,3b and have Figueroa,Ciriaco in AAA to call up for UT.

Like said is an option but are seeing what they can get for them

What are you hoping to get in return if you trade Hech? Sadly, if you're going to trade him for major league talent the biggest need is still probably starting pitching.

Honestly the biggest positive to come from the trade we made this morning is the message it sends to the fans, and the message it sends to the team, that we are unequivocally going for it this year. If you trade Hech for prospects, it pretty much negates that.

Washington get Melancon for Felipe Rivero and Taylor Hearn. I get Rivero is a cheaper replacement but damn with this market u could have asked for more and got it
