He's been great, but it's 20 innings into his Marlins career, let's not get overexcited.
He's been good and lucky. He's walked a bunch of guys, and has a .176 .BABIP against despite the fact that he's given up a bunch of hard contact. With that said, it would be cool if he could be more consistent with his breaking ball because it's good when he's on and he obviously has the 95+ fastball. Not a bad return for Cishek considering Cishek's value at the time of the trade.
Ege could be something if they ever let Mike Dunn go. Hard tho to get a call when u have Dunn,Hand,Conley,Lazo,Nappo ahead of ya
The Bearclaw comment was more about getting a guy for atleast the next year or so for someone who was gone and had zero value. They targeted him and as soon as STL put him in the deal we jumped on it.
He's a fine RP flyer. They really only need one more RHP next year behind Ramos, Capps, Morris, and Phelps (all controlled for years). They'll get one out of Barraclough, Ellington, Urena, Flores, Wittgren, etc. Who cares which one it is.
