Last-minute deal.

I actually like what I see for Toms Telis. .866 OPS in AAA last season before a call up. Recently turned 24 so there's time to see if he can have another big season in AAA. Love the move.

Cody Edge is old for his level but his stats don't tell a bad story. His K's per 9 is ridiculous this year. I'm really a big fan of this move.

And Ege is a lefty. The Marlins have a few lefty bullpen options for 2016 in Reed, Conley, Ege, Lazo and Nappo.

I wonder if Wittgren will be in a Marlins uniform tomorrow.

It's funny that if you look at Ege, he's following a similar minor league career to one Wittgren's having for us (Wittgren is better by a fair margin, but the results are about the same). He had a really cool K/BB ratio in 2014 with a worse ERA than this year so I feel his K/BB numbers in Jax for us will improve.

I don't know if either guy are surefire starters in the future, but for Sam freakin' Dyson, to get two guys who could likely see the majors before the end of 2016, that's a big freakin' win. We needed a backup option in case Realmuto plays poorly next year so this trade was pretty big, and Ege seems promising. Been hard to feel confident with some of the moves done recently but this one feels right.
