There's no way Dee Gordon doesn't become the first person to hit .400 since Ted Williams.

Dee Gordon could go 0 for his next 44 and still be hitting over .300.

“You don’t want to, I guess, put down anybody, but I think he’s a little bit better than what Jose Reyes was in his prime just because he’s incredibly fast,” Hamels said of Gordon. “He might be a tick more, not to discredit Jose, who is a pretty impressive player.

“That’s the first time I had to deal with [Gordon] on the bases. With him on the bases you have to pay attention to two individuals (the hitter and the runner) instead of one. It was a learning lesson knowing I’ll have to face him a lot more. I wasn’t able to balance the two.”

We now lead MLB in runs scored with runners in scoring position situations. Which makes sense, I guess, since we're tied for 28th in home runs. We're hitting .280/.340/.417 w/RISP

Hitting .297/.348/.417 in 7th inning or later, 3rd best OPS in baseball; killing bullpens.

          Runners In Scoring Position
          Hechavarria .417/.423/.792 24ab
          Stanton .364/.421/.667 33ab
          Prado .360/.414/.560 25ab
          Gordon .350/.423/.400 20ab

          Ichiro .278/.333/.444 18ab
          Ozuna .273/.412/.273 11ab

          Morse .217/.308/.261 23ab
          Yelich .214/.214/.214 14ab
          Realmuto .200/.182/.250 20ab

Latos is 1/1, Bour is 2/3

Salty, Baker, Solano, Brignac and all the other pitchers are a combined 0/26.
