I'm fine with it. Front office clearly sees a window for winning now and is making moves for it. Personally, I've had enough with the wait and see shit with some guys.

I think they already did that by taking Garrett Jones.

Don't think German matters much here. Prado is a huge upgrade.

This mean Haren stays? Alvarez, Latos, Cosart, Haren, Koehler/Phelps?

I kinda think they're sending a message that they want to upgrade wherever they can. I wouldn't be surprised to see on more starting pitcher via free agency.

I am kinda concerned with the lack of pitching in the minors. I am glad that Casey won't be our starting 3B though, and Prado gives us positional depth.

If we sign Shields out of this, then I really like this trade, but I kinda see it as a lateral move if not. Improving 3rd Base slightly, while hurting the starting pitching slightly.

Not really hurting it since Eovaldi was pretty much out of a job when Jose comes back

Rotation-Alvarez,Latos,Cosart,Koehler,Phelps(Rienzo in minors and Haren ?)

Jose comes back-Jose,Alvarez,Latos,Cosart,Koehler and Phelps moves to the pen

3rd Base improves and on days Casey plays 3B,Prado can play 1B,2B,SS,LF,RF

4th OF becomes Prado or Morse with Casey and Jeff Baker able to play 1B
