When I meant future 4th OF I meant it as how Valdespin is. Can play the OF too. Otherwords Utility guy who can play 2B,SS,LF,CF,RF

Didn't hear anything about Moran but Marisnick,Dietrich and comp pick is what they were offering for Cosart

So it's Moran and pick for Cosart actually since Hernandez replaces Marisnick as Future 4th OF

I seriously doubt he's a "future 4th outfielder". If that's the case, why would the teams be swapping him with Marisnick?

I am not a fan of this trade. You give up probably 2 of your top 3 prospects and you're not getting a great return for them. Would they not have been able to get Price, or Price and Zobrist for this deal with Heaney added and maybe another lower level prospect? I don't get it.

Hernandez's numbers aren't that good until this year, which makes me a little leery, but still cautiously optimistic about this deal, if it is in fact what's being reported.

There really needs to be a third (or fourth player), because if it's just Cosart and Hernandez Marlins got killed.

Wates is a good complimentary 4th OF project to the 3 starting guys so that makes some sense.

I'm sure they try Hernandez in the IF first.

When I said 4th OF I didnt mean this year. Hernandez is 22 and was tearing up the minors. He is a Valdespin type-can play 2B,SS,LF,CF,RF(4th OF replacing Marisnick)
