Ya the only story here is that Houston got a leak somewhere. Every MLB team knows that we will "listen" to offers for Stanton however if the offer isn't 4 or 5 prospects that are MLB Ready then we won't even discuss it.

If Houston had called and said Correa,Springer,Cosart,Altuve/Castro and McCullers we might have talked more about it.

As for real trades it looks like we are looking for a SP/MI combo deal. Cubs-Hammel/Boner,TB-Cobb/Zobrist

Either deal would include IFA Cash and a pitching prospect plus more

99% of baseball fans think Stanton won't remain a Marlin because he doesn't want to play for Miami.

They don't realize he would have absolutely signed on the dotted line 2 years ago had Lolia thrown a reasonable $$ number at him.
