Serious question tho,is there a reason why these guys are getting put on waivers? Is it just to clear 40 man spots for guys that need to be put on it or is it we are just trying to sneak them thru?

I ask because its not like we have a 40 man crunch-Hill,Phillips,Pierre,Velazquez,Polanco,Mahoney,Qua lls are all prolly off sooner or later

he's not good...but he's certainly better than some of the other crap we have on our 40 man

Maybe he was claimed before the marlins rid themselves of the other guys.

Its prob true to some extent.

I imagine it's at least partly because of injuries.

He's only thrown 179 innings combined over the last 3 seasons.
