              Maybe he is friends with Jacob Ruggiano...

              Impressed with Turner, his breaking stuff is genuinely swing and miss and despite the luck he looks a solid 3 in the rotation.

                        Trade Slowey while he has some discernible value. Use Sanabia or Koehler as a stop gap for the rest of the year. Hope Heaney cowboys up and wins the 5th spot next spring training.

                          No thanks. He's 22 and has thrown 70 innings in the minors.

                            Fernandez threw barely over 140 innings before getting the call up at 20.

                            If Heaney's ready, he's ready. He's pretty damn polished, and if he for some reason gets a call up to Jacksonville very soon and dominates, I don't see why he shouldn't be allowed to compete for that 5th spot.

                            That being said I don't see Heaney being in the majors until June 2014 at the earliest, more likely September 2014.
