  • Postgame: D'Backs Defeat Marlins 3-1

Stanton and LoMo are back from the DL and Deitrich, Ozuna and Lucas have all landed safely back on planet Earth. Perfect timing.

    Fernandez was amazing today.

Can't have both. Either great hitting or pitching. Can't put them together at all this yr.

Fernandez made 103 pitches and made it into the 8th.

      Heath Bell made 32 pitches.

I know Fernandez is on an inning limit for the season, but is he on a pitch count?

Redmond took Fernandez out after walking a guy who should've been called out on strikes and walking another guy after slipping on the mound.

I would've let him finish the inning. At least giving him one more guy to try and get a DP.

Talking about DP's, Jeff Mathis is fucking terrible.

He walked two in a row, was generally wild, was over 100 pitches, and was presumably pitching into the 8th inning for the first time in his life.

            I don't mind pulling him.

When Mathis catches our pitchers pitch really well. Just bat him 9th I would of rather had Fernandez bunting anyways and then pitch hit Brantly for Mathis
