I wouldn't say there was no way we break the record prior to him coming back.

Prior to him coming back, we had a .290 win% and we would have need a .240 win% to hit 120 losses.

I was getting to the point where I wouldn't necessarily disagree. But, at this point, I would say just this one 9-6 15-game stretch has basically eliminated the possibility even if he were to go down again.


Which really emphasizes how hard is to only win 40 games.

If he stays healthy the rest of the way, I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that we catch the Mets.
