After the game, the Marlins announced Donovan Solano (intercostal muscle) would be placed on the 15-day disabled list. Nick Green, who the Marlins designated for assignment Wednesday, will re-join the club Tuesday.

The Marlins have to make a corresponding 40-man roster move, possibly transferring right-hander Henderson Alvarez to the 60-day disabled list.
