I just didn't understand what that brought that on. Seemed to come out of nowhere.

I read the "yeah, that' gonna happen" as a response to Ozuna and Stanton hitting together. I guess it was for the other part.

And Mainge, isn't Yelich known for having a high average?

Morrison is a career .787ops/.192iso player, and I really think last season was more a product of injuries than anything else.

I'll be stunned if a healthy Morrison doesn't put up an .800 plus OPS. I can't wait til he gets back.

Also an NL league average 1B in 2012 was .266/.336/.442 (AL was .257/.336/.441).

Do you think Yelich will not be better than that?

I think that's probably about what he'll be.

You said Yelich won't hit enough to play first. Did you mean as in power?

I meant as in OPS but power is a big part of that equation.

That being said, if all 3 OFers work out and that happens, I won't complain.

                Morrison is a .250/.339/.442 hitter in 1146ab while having a .281 babip

Last season sucked, but he also had a .248 babip.

                The 2nd half of 2011 he hit .220/.311/.440 with a .229 BABIP. .229 and still managed a .750ops.

He's going to explode, I hope he's still on our team when he does.

They have him hitting leadoff in Jacksonville. I wonder if they like him there or they just want him to get as many at-bats as possible?

Yelich makes sense as a leadoff guy. He's not a big-time speed guy (BEINFEST BALL LULZ) but he has the necessary on base skills.

Isn't he? I thought that was a big plus when he was drafted

He's a prototypical number two hitter, IMO.

He stole 32 bases in 2011 and 20 last year.

I mean he's got speed, I just meant he's not a burner type. He's got above average speed. It's a plus.

Miguel Olivo left 10 men on base.

When is LoMo legible to return? Is it at the end if this month or start of June?
