God would be expecting a first pitch breaking ball in the dirt because humans love to disappoint him. -
I'm not sure if his game log information proves it, but his velocity seems to vary from outing to outing.
There are days when he's throwing a lot of fastballs at 91-92 and looks like an average reliever, and then there are days when he's capable of throwing 96 and he looks dominant.

That's average velocity for his outings, not including today. Doesn't really seem like a big deal there with the exception of the first three or so outings, which is probably common to an extent.
I don't see anything for max velocity per outing. I'm pretty sure I've seen him touch 96 several times this year, just not consistently of course.
