I could give 2 shits about embarrassing Loria and company. They should already be embarrassed, but I think they're too delusional to realize the damage they've caused this franchise. A historically bad season isn't going to change that.

I think we'll win around 50 games, just hope by the end of the season, through trades and call-ups, that we'll have seen some young talent that will give us some hope going forward.

That's the thing. Losing a 120 isn't going to make them feel any kind of remorse, regret, embarrassment, etc.

All they'll do is shrug and tell us to "Wait and see what happens next year" while being really condescending about it and then we'll lose a bunch next year too.

If the choice were between going 81-81 and making $20 million or going 41-121 and making $80 I think I know where their priorities lie. I just don't see them giving a damn about winning. Even their choices for young players are extremely dubious.
