But I would say the offense probably has more regression to come than the pitching right now.

Slowey, Nolasco and Fernandez are pitching over their heads right now, but nobody else, either in the pen or rotation is.

Offensively, you could make a really good argument that Polanco and Dobbs and maybe Hechavarria (depending on how low you were on him) are the only players who are close to playing to expectations offensively.
one could say solano is hitting how he realistically should be expected to

He has a .533 OPS. Shutup.

      Like, I don't like Solano. But he's not a .533 OPS player.

        No doubt, Solano sucks.

But it's really funny how you continue to point him out, specifically. He's not even the worst starter on the team.

The five projection systems on fangraphs had Solano for:

          .648
          .626
          .666
          .655
          .642

          Those are realistic expectations.

He has a .256 BABIP right now.

He's underperforming even already low expectations.

he was like a .630 ops player in the minors, not a stretch to say hes a .530 ops player against mlb pitching.

Slightly better at Triple-A. Nobody expected a .530 OPS.

Fun Fact: According to Wikipedia's list, of the 24 worst winning percentages ever posted, only two are from the expansion era. A .299 winning percentage would be historically bad.

                        That's 114 losses.

Not a doubt in my mind that the Marlins win 86 games this year!
