  • Postgame: April 1 Postgame: Strasburg and Friends Shut Out the Marlins

Gonna be a fun season with this lineup.

Fun fact: The Marlins tied the MLB all time record today for the fewest amount of runs scored in a game.

Our clean-up hitter is a washed up utility-infielder.

Our second hitter is a bad AAA player.

Our leadoff hitter's one true skill in the major leagues was his speed.

        He's 47 years old now.

          Our C probably sucks.

At least we have him instead of D'Arnaud.

You really don't realize how bad our lineup is until you actually look at it and realize that it is indeed our opening day lineup. We have an ancient JP and fucking Chris Coghlan as our top 2. And then there's the fact that Placido Palanco is the lead off hitter for a major league team. You can't even make that shit up.

Donovan Salano I think (or was he 7th?). He is starting in the big leagues. It's quite generous of the Marlins to let him do that.

I knew the lineup was going to be bad, but when you actually see it on paper and in action it's pretty incredible to realize how truly terrible it is. I'm in awe.

You are right, Solano is ahead of Kotchman.

To be fair, our lineup last year was full of Silver Sluggers, and batting champs and stud prospects and we were still really shitty on offense.

                            Sooo.

To be fair, you did just make up that we have two lead off hitters
