Also, he never pronounced it Die-Ass but his name is still what it was before because it's the family's name, not yours. Ya know?

I think it has more to do with Kearns than those guys.

But usually a team has five bench spots. One catcher, two "infielders" and two "outfielders." I really think Kearns chance of making the team at this point is extremely unlikely, especially since he isn't on the 40 and is hitting under .200 so far (yeah, spring training stats don't matter, but still.)

Diaz will likely take Kearns spot and more than likely lead to Kearns release since we would have to pay him 100k to send down

What I said was with Diaz signed he would prolly make the team instead of Kearns which would make us pay him a 100K bonus(which I doubt we would have done) and we would have then released him

But since Diaz signed a minor league deal I guess they are gonna wait for a few before they make a decision. It's still not like Kearns is 100% on the team they just had to tell him today

Kotchman and Kearns will be gone tho as soon as the guys start getting healthy
