yea that bench actually doesn't seem so bad

Dobbs and Diaz are good 1-2 options

(prob better than some of the starters)

I should say the line up is full of suck too but maybe some of them have some break out yrs. Esp with our line ups of yrs past we have guys who just have shit yrs. I'm hoping Kotchman does well and pushes LoMo to actually be able to hit. Stanton prolly won't get pitched to much unless JP and Polanco get on base ahead of him. Adeiny will lead the league in strikeouts but will play great D (future all star and all)

As expected, the Marlins have signed Miguel Olivo.

Olivo had the lowest obp (.239) among all MLB hitters with 300pa last year.

Well hopefully he won't get anywhere near 300 PA this year....and he's better than John Buck, so it's an upgrade in my book.

                          • John Buck's awful season last year is better than Olivo's last two seasons.

Actually they are pretty much the same player...but my hate of John Buck is fresher in my mind.

                              • Olivo is a perfect fit for this team. This is turning into the 1st Major League.
