Well, I mean, Polanco sucked last year and has a .657ops since the start of 2011, and he's 37. I wouldn't throw a parade or anything.

Polanco is old and terrible Erick. He had like a .625 OPS last year and a .6 WAR. I'm not saying Reynolds or Stewart is good, or their salaries, but let's not applaud this.

This is desperation, and they are going to be terrible. Personally, I would rather gamble with Stewart and hope there is some progression even if he never reaches his prospect status. But it doesn't really matter at the end of the day as these are all bench players on bad teams who get 500PA only from the Marlins.

I'm not sure how they are going to get any production with Pierre, Solano, Polanco, and Hechavarria in the lineup. Brantly is probably going to out homer them, and I think Brantly is good for 8-12.
