WHY MARLINS' SAMSON NO LONGER ON 790 THE TICKET:
The owner stepped in. Neither Marlins president David Samson nor 790 The Ticket wanted to end Samon's weekly show with Dan Le Batard in which Samson discussed movies as well as baseball, but owner Jeffrey Loria didn't like the segment and finally exerted his authority. Add this to the picture of Loria as a micro-managing owner to a fault. Another example: His hands-on editing of Showtime's The Franchise series starring the Marlins.

Still have about 3 or 4 spots left to fill
UT/2B (Solano has one of the spots)
RP(Prolly just do what they usually do and sign Minor League Deals)
2nd LOOGY(4/5 guys will be battling for the spot in ST)
SP(Still want a vet,but for innings and insurance-No Pavano at 4 mil)
Other than that the team is pretty much set for next year with the other SP more likely just aroud in case. They are willing to sign a guy who is "injured" and won't be ready until bout June/July
As for names, its pretty much who will sign down here or wants a chance. As seen from the Polanco deal,we have to overpay for FA.
