obviously that's just a flier but i have no problem with a move like this. Theres pretty much no risk as it was for the minimum amount you can trade in IFA money. Those IFA's are real fliers so if you can get someone who already has a history in the upper minors and supposedly showed a little something in the AFL it's a whatever move. The fact that this is probably a top 5 move for us this offseason is obviously pathetic though. They are going to go another offseaso not adding a significant player outside of prospects acquired in trades

My favorite part of the Jeter and now bendix experience is how they are using the same line of thinking as an excuse for not spending money. Both of them parroted the same bullshit line about having to build up the infrastructure of the organization from the ground up first before spending, as if those two things couldn’t possibly be done simultaneously like 20-25 other teams in baseball do every year.

Would be a great comp for him. He will never be as good of a defender as Castillo even at 2b, but the bat and speed and contact ability is similar.

I really hope they approached Rich Waltz first before offering Sielaff the job. That was an opportunity to undo one of the many Jeter fuck ups.

Waltz has a better job now than working for this shit. He’s a national guy now doing a lot of college basketball and football I think for fox sports. I hear Him all the time
