They've drawn less than 1 million 1 time in the history of the franchise. They've only been under 1.2 million twice.

And that was in that shitty football stadium. There's still gonna people who just like baseball or want to eat the road food everyone posts about or something.

Plus the titties in the Clevelander

The year they drew under a million ownership was in flux during the offseason and they didn't have a serious drive to sell tickets.

Yeah, there's no way they draw less than a million.

          0% chance.

I would say this move was the biggest kick in the balls in the history of the franchise and disenfranchised the fan base more than anything they have ever done before. I agree there will be a crowd that just goes to games to see baseball, and certain road teams like the Mets will draw those fans, but I think it is going to be epicly low. Week day crowds will easily be under 10k sold. I'm not sure they are breaking 20k most weekends.

I can see you being "right" at 1.2 (which is a statement to how pathetic they are) and they grab a few extra people here and there on a promotion or whatever, but it's going to be really bad.

I think you're going to see a lot of the weekday crowds similar to the JRS days with announced attendance about 14k. Weekend crowds are going to crater with Super Saturdays being moved to Fridays. It's going to be so sad.

This is the season that they pissed off the hardcore Marlins fan (for instance, Namaste).

The fan who gave them the benefit of the doubt when they said for 7 years, "GIVE US A RETRACTABLE ROOF BASEBALL ONLY FACILITY AND OUR PAYROLL WILL REFLECT THAT".

Subsequently, this is the first time in 13 years that I'm actually (and seriously) considering not attending Opening Day simply because of the Reyes/Buehrle ridiculousness.

                    Don't buy things from concession.

I'd do that but then I'd get the food because it's good. So I can't do that.

If I go I won't be choking up $10 for Corona Lights like I did (gladly) last year.

I'll sneek a flask of whiskey in that muthafucka and buy one large Coke.

                      I'LL SHOW THEM!!!!!1111

but I seriously will sneek a flask in that mofo

Amazing that this is what it has come down to for diehard fans. If you've lost us you've lost everybody.

Sign Guy will still be there.
