You can't. This proves how stupid they think the public is.

Loria says he needs to have a team with less than a $ 30 million payroll, and doesn't give two shits what the public thinks about it, is what the two of them combined really say.

But I am sure some of the spin master will think this is just us getting competitive again.

a number of people will show up, sure, they may even get sellouts, but in the bigger picture, many of the hardcore fans I know just don't care anymore. They've been lied to one too many times by Loria & Samson, and they're headed for greener pastures. Baseball has either lost them for good or until Loria sells.

I am not renewing my seats, mainly because I live in Dallas now, but my dad and the 2 other guys that bought 41 game packages will not be renewing their tickets. That's 4- 41 game packages in the lower bowl. My dad told the rep that he would renew if they gave him 50% off the package and moved him from the infield/outfield grass line to even with the pitchers mound. He said that was not doable and thus my father said him renewing was not doable.

If the Marlins start winning and make the playoffs in two years, they will sell fine and the playoff games would be sell outs. They don't give a shit what type of people they get to be at the games.

The only issue, and biggest of all, is people not believing they are capable of doing anything right and putting a good team together with who is running the organization right now. but if they someone pull it off, people will show up.

Sellouts? They only sold out once last season, I think, and it was opening day. I highly doubt they sell out one game next season.

You don't think they'd sell out a playoff game?

It's gonna really funny if the Marlins do in 2013 what they did in 2006 and then the media talks about how "shrewd" the front office is. And yes, I could see this happening, even if I have no evidence to base that off of.

If they make the playoffs is one thing but do not forget that the Marlins in 2003 didn't sell out all of their playoff games against the Giants and in 1997 didn't sell out against the Braves.

Ok, in 1997 against the Braves they did not 'open' it up for the entire stadium and they still did not sell out.

You are saying that Marlins wouldn't sell 37k seats for a playoff game.

                              They signed Juan Pierre.

Morale of fanbase is back to March 2012 levels.
