Marlins Trade Everyone to Toronto, Receive lifetime supply of Maple Syrup
I don't like how it seems they were extremely lazy about it, but I'm perfectly fine with all the players being traded. Would've been cool to keep Reyes but whatever. Instead of winning 75 next year, we can win 55 and get the 1st pick in the draft so cool.
That's the wrong attitude but this is how they pretty much thought.
It's completely the wrong attitude. This is beyond on the field baseball (where it was a bad trade regardless of external factors).
You don't spit in a city and fans face who built you a stadium and you promised to operate as a real franchise. It's the second fucking year!
Honestly, is the upper deck closed all next year. I'm serious.
Fans really came out last year when they spent the money and the team sucked...who cares? The fans will come if they start winning. They likely weren't going to win in 13 regardless of the scenario. The team was built to win in 2012 and 2012 was a failure. I'm glad these players won't be here in the latter years of their backloaded contracts.

It's not like these guys were contenders and lighting it up. I say blow the whole damn thing up and build something that lasts. Sure they'll take their lumps but we want a sustained winner not a high priced mediocre team.
They did that in 2006, and never built a winner. History repeating itself.
I can't understand what they are up to, they have to be thinking of going out and signing someone.
I can't see them winning more than 60 next year. This front office & ownership just don't care about winning. Baseball in Miami is never going to really happen until these clowns are gone.
