Can someone more knowledgeable and helpful than I post one of those handy "this is what our line-up will look like next year" posts?? Seriously...
C - that kid we got from DET - swings like the guy from ol times.
1B - Morrison
2B - Solano
SS - Escobar
3B - ? Cox??
LF - Ruggiano
CF - Do they give the youngin's a shot now?? Ozuna...?
RF - Stanton
1. Nolasco
2. Turner
3. Eovaldi
4. Hand?
5. Sanabia?
.... I'm not as well-versed in the farm system as I once was.
With that said...does that line-up lose more games than we lost last year?? In all honesty I don't think we are THAT much worse...though our talent surely decreased. We couldn't score runs last year; that clearly won't be the reason for more losses...SP?? Let the young guns have a go I guess... They didnt post horrible ERA's last year in limited time.
Look like we'll be pretty much JUST AS BAD and we saved $200 mil, and got prospects (are they any good??)
BLAH.STANTON
Serious fun! GET IT IN!

BLAH.
C - Brantly (got him Anibal)
1B - Lomo
2B - Hehavarria (got him Toronto, could be a Bonifacio type)
SS - Escobar (got toronto)
3B - Kouzmanoff/Solano/Cox < - Intense competition
LF - Solano/B. Petersen/Gorkys Hernandez
CF - Ruggiano
RF - Stanton
SP - Nolasco (assuming not moved), Alvarez (toronto, should be good), Turner, Eovaldi, Hand, LeBlanc
RP - Cishek, Dunn, Ramos, Webb, Jennings, and 2 other club controlled guys
As for prospects being good, who knows. Alvarez is a good young SP, and there is another "top" outfield and P prospect in there 2 years away. Hehavarria could be a utility macier izturis guy? It's not very inspiring.Last edited by lou; 11-13-2012, 08:26 PM.

Loria attended New York City's Stuyvesant High School[2] and Yale University, where he initially took pre-med courses. With a requirement to take a history class, Loria chose art history.
After college, he worked in a newly-established art-buying program for Sears, launched with the help of actor Vincent Price. He specializes in 20th century masters. His collection includes works by Pablo Picasso and Henry Moore. Loria graduated from Columbia Business School in 1968 and published his second book, What's It All About Charlie Brown?, a look at life through the Peanuts comic strip (co-written with Pat K. Lynch). He is generally considered to be the worst owner in the history of professional sports.Originally posted by Madman81Most of the people in the world being dumb is not a requirement for you to be among their ranks.
