  • Marlins on the Cusp of Scoring 2 Runs in 18 Innings Today

    :mjpop

2012: It wasn't what we thought it was.
    --------------------
They had runners on 1B and 2B with no outs. They remained there.
    --------------------
    Brantley will amount to nothing.

    /lame Todd prediction

    But yeah, nothing.

      They did it

18 innings of real baseball. 2 runs.

The magical season of magic continues.

They scored 18 runs in the 18 innings before that.

Maybe they can spread it around a little more.
        --------------------
They've scored 105 runs in 26 games this month and yet have been shut out 4 times and held to 1 run 4 times. So they've got 101 runs in the 18 other games.

Major adding error here, boys. They've got 95 runs, not 105.

Still, 5th in the NL in runs this month.

So Turner stays. I wonder who is losing their rotation spot.

I agree that they need to stop scoring 18 runs in 18 innings and 2 runs in 18 innings and just score 10 runs every 18 innings.

What if they score 10 in 9 and then 0 in 9 though?

We're gonna need to study this one.
