This is the first time I honestly think Beinfest will get fired.

I think they would dump hill first as a scapegoat since he is the "GM"

Oh thank God. At first I was sure this was going to be another one of those "Did I just hear him correctly ?" threads.

They are all signed through 2015. I find it doubtful they will want to pay buyouts so soon.

            They get 2013.

If they're going to fire Beinhill, I don't know why they'd wait till after the deadline. It would have made more sense to can them a month ago or so and let someone else preside over the dismantling. Makes no sense to feel like they didn't do their job bringing in the right pieces, then give them full reign over what is likely to be the last chance to bring in the right pieces via trade over the next few years, then can them right after.

I still think they stick around.

It's not as if they can blame Beinfest/Hill for some of these moves. If the rumors are true, Loria had input in a lot of these decisions. He's gonna fire people for making decisions he would've made?

Samson has referenced Hanleys batting average (.240) four times

Lets be honest. If he quoted any other stat, 90% of the listeners won't know what he's talking about.

He could use any stat he'd like. He'd still be right because Hanley hasn't been productive either way.

I listened to it and tried to call in. It was such bullshit. Sounded like a great politician. If you know you messed up and you're trying to fix it, why put it in the hands of the man who messed it up and hasn't made a good trade in years? Larry Beinfest at this point has to be one of the worse GMs in all of baseball, he shouldn't be trusted to deal away the valuable pieces the Marlins do have. Beinfest needs to go, now.
